Step 2: Onboard Your Users

What you can do:

Staff turnover means that the people responsible for submitting data at each entity can change from year to year. Impacti makes it easy for you to adjust to these staff changes.

You can also assign rights aligned with the data responsibilities at each entity - designating who can submit data, who can review and who can send the official submission.

How it works

  1. Click on “Teambuilder” on the top-left side.

  2. A screen will appear with all entities for the selected reporting year. Hover over the top right corner of the entity box and click on the *** icon. A pop-up window will appear with a section on “Add access”. From here, you can add/delete users and assign user rights.

FAQs

  • To add a user to an entity, click on *** in the top-right corner of the entity’s box and choose “Edit”. An entity pop-up window will appear. Click on the “Add access” button beside the “Access and roles” header.

If the user is already assigned to another entity, type their name in the “Search user” box and click on their name when it appears. If not, you can invite new users by clicking on “Cannot find a user? Invite someone to join”. A pop-up box will appear where you can fill in  their user name and email address, and assign them a role. New users will receive a welcome email from Impacti with login details.

  • You can choose from four different roles to assign to each user:

    • Admin = You’re a superhero. Seriously. Admins have access to all data submitted across your Organization and all the features and customizations on the Impacti platform. You can add/delete entities and users, track and approve data submissions, edit data, apply proxies, and analyse results across your Organization.

    • Manager = You’re the big fish at an entity or group of entities. Managers are responsible for reviewing and officially submitting their entity’s data for review by Admins once all data is collected. Admins can also enter the raw data for the entity too.

    • Data entry = A vital part of the team. Data entry users are responsible for entering raw data for the entity. NOTE: They cannot officially submit the data for review by Admins.

    • View only = Useful for people who just want to take a look. View only users can view the raw data and dashboard, but cannot modify the data.

  • When adding a user to a grouping entity or an entity that has sub-entities you will receive a message asking if you would like the user to be added to all of the entities below.

  • When you delete a user from a grouping or an entity with sub-entities you will receive a message asking if you would like to also delete the user from all of the entities below.
