Road traffic injuries claim 1.35 million lives each year, with 93% of these deaths occurring in low- and middle-income countries. Air pollution is a major environmental risk to health, causing an estimated 7 million premature deaths annually.

Businesses have a vested interest in promoting health and well-being, as a healthy workforce is a productive workforce. Investing in employee health and well-being can lead to reduced absenteeism, improved morale, and increased productivity.
